Who We Are: What We Do

Since the Commission’s inception in 1986, its programs and art advocacy have grown yet its mission remains clear… to support and champion arts and culture in our community.

Today, the Commission is proud to host and organize numerous art exhibitions, special events, and to serve as the Region 5 regranting agency for the Michigan Arts & Culture Council. The Commission relies solely on funding from the community, foundations, Michigan Arts & Culture Council, and income from memberships and special events to support its many services, programs and events.

The Commission is proud of the many contributions it has made to the quality of life in Saginaw and the Great Lakes Bay Region.
